Frequently Asked Questions

Find the floorplan you like on the floorplans page. Once you click on that, you will be provided with available apartments. Find the one you would like and click "Apply Now".

You will need to upload your government-issued photo ID at the time of application. You will also need to upload your income verification documents.

Our income requirement is for the gross income each month to equal 3 times the rental rate. For more details please visit the Rental Criteria page.

If you would be approved but your income does not meet our requirements, you will have the opportunity to use a guarantor.

We do complete rental verifications with landlords and Experian provides information through their Rent Bureau platform.

Once you apply and are approved, you will be charged a non-refundable holding deposit, otherwise known as earnest money. This holds the apartment for you and is applied to your charges due when you move in (administrative fee or rent).

No, we do not write individual leases. We have one lease which will list all roommates.

Yes, we are pet friendly! We accept up to 2 cats and/or dogs without weight restrictions. We do have breed restrictions and pets must be screened by PetScreening. For more details visit our pet page.

You are required to carry $100k liability insurance and $10k personal property insurance. We partner with Assurant who offer great rates and meets our property requirements, but you are free to use any provider you prefer. For more details visit our renter's insurance page.

We do not accept payments in our office. You will have access to a resident portal where you can set up recurring ACH payments or make one-time payments from your bank, debit, or credit card. For residents who prefer not to make payments online, we have a WIPS (Walk-In Payment System) number we can issue where you will go to a WIPS Provider and make a payment. They will send the funds electronically.

The first payment is due before your lease begins. If you are moving in before the 25th, you will pay your prorated rent for the month. If you are moving in the 25th or later, you will pay your prorated rent for the current month and the rent for the following month.

In order to reduce our carbon footprint, Madison Apartment Group sends bills electronically through email. Once you receive your bill, you will have the option to select receiving paper copies, if that is your preference.
